AI often promises clarity. But when it hallucinates, it can create confusion instead. That’s where WisdomAI comes in. Founded by Soham Mazumdar, co-founder of Rubrik, this new startup wants to solve a major problem in enterprise tech: making AI data tools actually trustworthy.

To back that bold mission, WisdomAI just raised $23 million in seed funding. The round was led by Coatue, with support from Madrona, GTM Capital, and The Anthology Fund. Their goal? To make AI business intelligence tools that don’t make stuff up — and that work even when your data is messy.

Real Insights Without the Guesswork

WisdomAI isn’t just another AI chatbot for the workplace. Instead, it’s a platform that turns natural language questions into real-time answers pulled directly from your company’s data — whether it’s in a spreadsheet, a PDF, or a database.

Let’s say a chief revenue officer asks, “How are we tracking this quarter?” Instead of waiting days for a data team to pull a report, WisdomAI shows pending deals, blockers, and action steps in seconds. The tool lets leaders dig into the details with just a few keystrokes. No analysts needed. No delays.

This kind of speed is a game changer for enterprise decision-making. And it’s not limited to sales. An early oil and gas customer, for example, uses the platform to track field operations and production, drawing insights from both telemetry and document files.

Accuracy Is the Superpower

Many AI tools today use generative AI to create responses. That can work well — until the model starts making things up. Even the best prompt engineering can’t always stop hallucinations. That’s risky for companies depending on accurate reports.

WisdomAI takes a smarter route. It uses GenAI to form queries, but not to produce the answers. If the model creates a bad query, it simply doesn’t return anything. That means the system never makes up data — it either finds real answers or gives none.

That single change makes the platform far more reliable, especially for companies dealing with sensitive or unstructured data.

Plug-and-Play for Enterprise Systems

WisdomAI integrates with all the major cloud data platforms. It works with Snowflake, BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Databricks, and Postgres. It learns how your team queries data by studying existing logs, so it adapts fast and doesn’t require a full system overhaul.

Big names like Cisco, ConocoPhillips, and Descope are already using the platform. With this new funding, the company plans to grow its engineering team and bring its product to more businesses worldwide.

Mazumdar believes this is the future of business intelligence — smart, fast, and reliable. With AI adoption rising, the demand for tools like WisdomAI is only getting stronger.
