French pet insurance startup Dalma has raised €20 million in a Series B funding round led by Breega, with continued support from Northzone, Anterra Capital, and Bpifrance’s Digital Venture 3 fund. This latest investment brings the company’s total funding to €37 million as it scales operations across Europe.
Dalma is on a mission to become a one-stop digital platform for pet parents, offering:

With this funding, Dalma plans to expand beyond France and Germany, accelerate product innovation, and further develop its AI-powered claim-processing technology.

Dalma was founded in April 2021 in Paris by Raphaël Sadaka, Alban De Préville, and Harry Belinga, who recognized a major gap in the pet insurance market. While pet ownership is high in countries like France, insurance adoption remains low compared to markets like Sweden and the UK.
