Vizzy, a bold UK-based hiring platform, has raised £3.65 million in seed funding to reimagine what the CV can be—and it’s already earning the trust of global giants like Louis Vuitton, WHSmith, and Burberry. Designed to challenge the outdated CV and cover letter process, Vizzy helps companies uncover early-career talent based on more than just academic credentials. Instead, it highlights potential, personality, and ambition.

The latest round, led by Adjuvo, brings in a group of heavyweight investors including Oberon Private Ventures, Rob Wells (ex-Workday Asia), Nigel Wray, Sally Wells, Sir Clive Woodward, and Robert Dodds of XIX Entertainment. The fresh capital will support team expansion, product development, and global reach.

A New Standard in Talent Discovery

Vizzy launched its platform in 2023 with a clear mission: make recruitment more human and inclusive. The idea was born from co-founder Joe Woodward’s own job loss during the pandemic, which exposed just how rigid and ineffective traditional hiring systems can be.

Instead of relying on cookie-cutter resumes, Vizzy gives candidates—especially those at the start of their careers—a way to stand out. Through interactive digital profiles, users can showcase who they are beyond grades and job titles. Features like multimedia content, psychometric testing, and personalized modules bring their ambitions and personalities to life.

And in a world where AI-generated applications are the norm (with up to 65% of job seekers now using tools to write their CVs), Vizzy helps employers cut through the noise to find real, authentic talent.

Trusted by Global Brands

From fashion icons like Louis Vuitton and Burberry to household names like WHSmith, PizzaExpress, and Virgin, Vizzy’s client base is growing fast. Each brand uses the platform to get deeper insights into candidates, customizing the experience to match their roles and values.

For Louis Vuitton, Vizzy is helping them streamline applications and highlight top talent. WHSmith praised the tool for helping them spot the most engaged candidates quickly. And at Virgin, Vizzy’s disruptive energy aligns perfectly with their mission to challenge the status quo.

More Than a Platform—A Movement

Beyond technology, Vizzy is becoming a community. Its podcast, The Graduate Guide, helps young professionals navigate early career challenges and has already reached millions online. It’s just one of the many ways Vizzy is building a brand around recruitment that feels modern, inclusive, and future-focused.

CEO Chris Woodward-Jones said the momentum has been incredible. “In less than two years, we’ve seen some of the world’s most respected companies change how they view candidates. This new investment will help us grow even faster—bringing more value to employers and opening doors for candidates everywhere.”

Adjuvo’s CEO Mark Foster-Brown echoed that optimism, calling Vizzy a “game-changer” for a new generation of digital-native job seekers.
